The LVMH group has named Gian Carlo Di Risio Chief Executive Officer of Fendi. The assignment will officially start in February.
Gian Carlo Di Risio will report to Yves Carcelle, President of the LVMH Fashion Group that includes, besides Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Celine, Berluti, Kenzo, Givenchy, Christian Lacroix, StefanoBi, Emilio Pucci, Thomas Pink, Marc Jacobs, and Donna Karan.
Di Risio, 46 years old, was chief executive officer of the Italian ready-to-wear group IT Holding for several years, and was instrumental in the development of the company.
