GIAAA to offer seminar on cut grades at MIDAS Show

The Lone Star Gemological Institute of America Alumni Association is sponsoring an all-day seminar titled, “Diamond Cut Grade: Comparisons & Pricing for the Jewelry Industry,” a day before the Southwest MIDAS TEXAN Fine Jewelry Show begins.

The seminar will take place on Sept. 8 at the Gaylord TEXAN Resort & Convention Center located in Grapevine, Texas (near DFW airport), where the Midas show will be held.

Seminar speakers will include James Shigley, GIA director of research, Al Gilbertson, GIA research associate), Peter Yantzer, executive director of the American Gem Society Lab, and Richard Drucker, editor and publisher of The Guide.
