GIA New York adds another G.G. program

Due to unprecedented demand, the Gemological Institute of America of New York, has added another Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) diploma program to its 2004 schedule, set for Oct. 28–May 13, 2005. That class will establish a new record of seven G.G. programs begun by GIA New York this year.

The six-month G.G. program combines the Graduate Diamonds and Colored Stones programs. The course teaches the grading and identification skills needed to become a buyer, appraiser, retailer, or senior professional in the industry. The diploma qualifies students to take their place among the industry’s most qualified leaders. Students learn how to grade diamonds from the creators of the International Diamond Grading System and to test and identify hundreds of stones.

To apply for enrollment in GIA’s newly added G.G. diploma program in New York, where seats are already filling quickly, call 800-366-8519, ext. 3063, or outside the U.S. and Canada call 212-944-5900. E-mail EducationNewYork@gia.edu, or visit www.gia.edu.
