Gemological Institute of America London is believed to be the first and only organization in the United Kingdom dedicated to gemological education and training to attain Registered Charity status.
As a Registered Charity, gifts to GIA London are now tax-advantaged using Gift Aid.
Formally known as GIA England, the school, located at 99 Great Russell St., London, WC1B, 2LA, was registered in the U.K. as Registered Charity No. 1101116.
“As the U.K.’s only Registered Charity engaged in gemological education, I think that it recognizes GIA’s mission and commitment of service to the public and jewelry industry,” said Edward Johnson, G.G., director of GIA London.
