The Gemological Institute of America Middle East, LLC., recently conducted Gem Identification and Colored Stone Grading Lab classes in Bahrain. The week-long classes, which took place at the Ministry of Industry & Commerce, Kingdom of Bahrain with government cooperation and support of the Bahrain Laboratory, concluded on Feb. 9.
Sixteen students completed the Gem Identification class and 15 completed Colored Stone Grading; each received a Letter of Completion.
In addition to more Bahrain classes, the Institute offers a full schedule of lab classes in Dubai and will soon expand its course offerings in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
