Jewelry store operator Mayor’s Jewelers Inc., Sunrise, Fla., said on Friday the president of its retail unit, Samuel Getz, has resigned effective immediately, Reuters reported.
The Sunrise, Fla.-based retailer, which operates 34 luxury jewelry stores in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Virginia, Texas, California, Nevada, and Michigan, said Getz will continue as a consultant, focusing on Mayor’s sales force, new product development and marketing.
“My new arrangement allows me to continue my relationship with Mayor’s while pursuing other business interests and investments,” Getz said in a statement, Reuters reported.
The company did not say whether or when it would name a replacement for Getz.
