Gerald Fried, who founded Gerald Fried Display Company in 1946 and has been an icon in the jewelry industry, died on Aug. 15. He continued to work until this past winter.
GF (Gerald Fried) Packaging and Display Company, LLC. has been operating under new ownership since 2002, continuing Gerald Fried’s legacy with the same high values and regards for its customers and employees.
“Those who had the pleasure of working with him will remember him as a loyal and caring man of integrity,” said a company statement. “The many customers and business acquaintances he had the opportunity to know and work with over the years will remember him as an honest and fair businessman. His passing is a great loss to us all.”
