Geoffroy Ader, the former head of European watches at Sotheby’s, is at the helm of a new e-commerce watch store from Antiquorum Auctioneers, the Geneva-based auction house.
Antiquorum Online will be the first online retail venture for the company.
“I’m pleased to join the Antiquorum team and develop Antiquorum Online, a new digital marketplace for collectors from around the globe,” Ader said. “Our objective with Antiquorum’s new online platform is to offer clients an unparalleled retail experience with the added security that comes with over 40 years as the world’s premier watch auctioneers.”
“We are confident that Mr. Ader together with our team of experts will provide clients with a fantastic retail experience that will complement our traditional auctions,” said Giulio De Lucia, an Antiquorum board member and the CEO of FIDES Business Partner.
A launch date has not yet been announced.
