Gem Shopping Network to Feature 10 Carat Kashmir Sapphire

The ring is one of the most expensive items ever featured on a home shopping network

On Feb. 25 in a live red carpet event, the Gem Shopping Network will present one of the most expensive items ever on a home shopping network.

The Jewel of Kashmir (pictured, right) is a 10.88 ct. vivid royal blue unheated Kashmir sapphire ring set in a platinum mount with a 2 ct. diamond on each side. The network notes that sapphires of this caliber have sold at auction between $2 million and $6 million.

A 10.33 ct. Kashmir sapphire sold for $2.5 million at Christie’s Hong Kong in June 2015.

“This is not only one of the most important gems that we have ever had, but is one of the most important gems the world will ever see,” said Sky Chung, Gem Shopping Network host. “It is truly an honor and a pleasure to be able to bring a gem of this caliber to our clients at Gem Shopping Network.”
