Gem Diamonds and Tiffany Subsidiary Negotiate 25% Price Increase for Fancy Yellows

Kimberley Diamond Co., a subsidiary of London-based miner Gem Diamonds, and Laurelton
Diamonds have agreed to a 25 percent price increase for the exclusive
assortment of rare fancy yellow diamonds from Kimberley’s Ellendale mine in
Western Australia.

The new price takes effect Oct. 1.

Laurelton Diamonds is the diamond sourcing and polishing subsidiary of Tiffany

Tiffany launched its Yellow Diamond collection in Japan in April 2010. It
introduced the collection to the U.S. market Sept. 10—Fashion’s Night Out—at
its flagship store on Fifth Avenue in New York.
