Qualified applicants are invited to apply via the group’s website
The Gemmological Association of Great Britain (Gem-A) is seeking a CEO.
Former CEO James Riley resigned in July after a suspension following an issue with expenses. The organization announced at the time that it would not appoint a new CEO until the members elected a new board. New officers were announced in August, and interim CEO Nick Jones was hired in October.
“The position of CEO will provide a great opportunity for an energetic person to further their career as they lead the association into an ever-expanding international presence, where its members are universally recognized as highly educated modern gemologists,” said Nigel Israel, chairman of the council, in a statement.
More information, including how to apply, is available on the Gem-A website. The deadline for applications is Feb. 19.
