Jewelry retailer Friedman’s Inc., Savannah, Ga., said Tuesday that Douglas Anderson has been appointed president and chief operating officer, Reuters reported.
Anderson previously served as president and chief executive officer of Thorn Americas Inc. a credit-based electronic and furniture rental operation. He was also president and chief executive officer of Brookstone Co. previously.
Bradley Stinn, Friedman’s chief executive, referred in a statement to Anderson as an addition to the management team, Reuters reported.
Friedman’s is a specialty jewelry retailer, operates a total of 633 stores in 20 states.
