With little time to regroup after the last day of the LUXURY by JCK show, patrons gathered at Tao in the Venetian Friday night to witness the convergence of two famous blonde chicks—Tweety and Nicky Hilton.
Hotel heiress Hilton is partnering with D’Annunzio, which sponsored the event, on a Tweety Bird jewelry line, which was on display at the party. The featured pieces included diamond-encrusted flowers and one memorably opulent pendant featuring the bird itself.
Toward the end of the event, partygoers were already talking about their next stop. For many, that was the Kwiat/Mikimoto/Townand Country party (tagline: “Diamonds Are a Pearl’s Best Friend”) at Tryst in the Wynn.
A short walk later, they and many more guests admired a seemingly endless spread of food, an enthusiastic young rock ’n’ roll band that made time for some well-loved classics, and a dramatic waterfall that merged indoors with outdoors at the beautiful venue.
It was a treat for all, including Zach from The Real World: Key West, whose father owns Fox’s Gem Shop and who partied with a friend. Overheard in the women’s room: “I was too busy talking with Zach from The Real World!” Too busy for what, we’ll never know.
Enjoyment and minor celebrity sightings seemed only to fuel anticipation of things to come—in this case, the David Yurman party at the Palms, which was the talk of Tryst as the night continued.
Though the event required a cab ride for most Stripside visitors, the jewelry mogul did not disappoint. The party took place in a huge suite-like space with breathtaking views, a chocolate fountain, a mix of tunes, and a pool complete with two mermaids.
