Having just finished up our Fourth of July festivities (can you believe it’s come and gone already?), and with the month well on its way, I can think of no gemstone more appropriate than the ruby. As the birthstone of July, it’s patriotic, and its sizzling color evokes what we are all feeling here in the Northeast: very, very hot. Atelier Minyon designer Alp Sagnak is well known for turning eerie creatures into stunning designs, and this bat ring is no exception. The 18k gold and oxidized silver creation is accented with a ruby and diamonds.

Rubies of all sizes decorate this beautiful pair of free-form earrings from Vancox. The yellow gold drops are accented with diamonds that line the whimsical, wavy shapes.
