Friday 5: Chandelier Earrings

If you got a look at the most recent cover of JCK Magazine, you may have noticed that the team has a thing for chandelier earrings (as well as other statement pieces: that necklace, swoon). As the line teases, “Statement pieces are back and more spectacular than ever,” and it’s true—after a period of tiny pendants and earrings sweeping us away (which is still happening, by the way), singular pieces that are the look, not the accessory, are creeping in. From shoulder-dusting earrings to neckpieces like the one pictured on our cover (both jewels on the cover are from Shay Jewelry, by the way), big looks are big news. Today’s statement-making style: chandelier earrings.

  1. The color of pearls should be close to the skin color of the person who wears it, and therefore people of different countries wear pearls of different colors. In Europe, they prefer to wear soft white or white with a light bluish tint, in the East and in the southern countries preference is given to yellowish
