An attempted jewelry heist ended in a violent car crash
Monday in Fresno, Calif. after law enforcement noticed a getaway car in a
jewelry store parking lot and pursued the suspect in a chase, according to a local
news report.
According to the report, the chase ended as the suspect ran
a red light and hit another vehicle causing the suspect’s SUV to overturn. The
$20,000 loose diamond stolen from Warner Company Jewelers was recovered at the
crash scene according to police.
