Frederick Goldman’s Jewelry Solutions Group Adds 2

Frederick Goldman’s recently formed Jewelry Solutions Group has hired two industry veterans, the company announced in a statement today.

John Badee (pictured), the former general manager of Riva Precision Manufacturing, will become the Jewelry Solutions Group’s new director of manufacturing and engineering.

He will strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities as it grows its On Demand and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM) business.

Donna DeLucia (pictured below), the former director of sales for John C. Nordt and LeachGarner, is joining Goldman as senior director of technical sales. In addition to Nordt, DeLucia has worked at IGC Antwerp and Intercontinental Jewellery Manufacturing. In 2016, she was nominated for the Women’s Jewelry Association’s Award for Excellence.

Frederick Goldman, based in Secaucus, N.J., launched the Jewelry Solutions Group earlier this year, and also opened a new facility in Mexico. The Jewelry Solutions Group manufactures private-label product and can deliver customized engagement rings within one week, it said. It also offers the option of drop-shipping product directly to consumers.

The Jewelry Solutions Group is led by Goldman chief operating officer John Orrico, who joined the company in 2015.

“We are extremely fortunate to retain John [Badee] and Donna as we expand our On Demand and OEM customer base and product offering,” said Jonathan Goldman, chairman and chief executive officer of Frederick Goldman, in a statement. “This is a fast-growing segment of our business that has been universally, and enthusiastically, accepted by our customers. Quick-make, inventory light, high-quality, and on demand products satisfies the needs of all retailers today. We look forward to great things from Donna and John as the Jewelry Solutions Group scales under the leadership of John Orrico.”
