The swanky wearable features on-wrist notifications
Swiss watch brand Frédérique Constant has launched its first-ever smartwatch for women—a small, slimmer version of its men’s Horological Smartwatch.
Like the men’s model, the ladies’ version tracks activity, daily steps, distance, and calories burned. It also alerts you if you’ve been sedentary too long and tracks your sleep—providing, via a proprietary smartphone app, details like how much time you spend in deep versus light sleep.
Upgraded features found in the new women’s model include notifications that appear on the actual watch, not just on the app. The 2, 4, 8, and 10 o’clock positions represent calls, sleep, activity, and messages, respectively. (Icons on the watch face help jog your memory as to what each number stands for.)
Prices range from $750 for a stainless steel case to $1,295 for a version with a rose gold–plated bezel. See the four-piece collection here.
