Frédérick Martel is joining Baume & Mercier as the new president of its North American division, effective immediately.
He replaces Rudy Chavez, who has become vice president of specialist retail at Cartier North America. Both brands are owned by Richemont.
Martel is a veteran of Richemont, having served as director of marketing and communications for IWC North America and vice president of sales and marketing for Audemars Piguet for the Americas.
