Watch and accessory manufacturer Fossil is partnering with Intel to produce wearables associated with leading fashion brands, the latter announced.
The linkup means that some of the iconic names in the Fossil stable will adorn wearable devices, a statement said.
“Combining our fashion lifestyle brands with Intel’s expertise in technology, hardware, and innovation will position us to be a leader in this segment,” said Kosta Kartsotis, CEO of Fossil Group, in a statement.
Fossil had previously announced plans to work with Google on an Android-powered smartwatch.
