Former Texas Jeweler Dies

Robert Rascusin, owner of a Texas jewelry store for 61
years, died Dec. 9 at the age of 91 in Houston, Texas, according to a local
news source
.

After serving three and a half years in World War II,
Rascusin opened Robert’s Jewelers in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1945. His store
provided the Corpus Christi area with wedding rings, gifts, retirement watches
and sailing trophies until he sold it in 2006.

His father owned and operated a jewelry store in San
Antonio, Texas from 1900 to 1942.
