Blank and his brother Martin ran the company together for nearly 40 years
Lou Blank, the former vice president of Joseph Blank, the New York diamond cutting and importing company, died at his home in New York on Nov. 9. He was 81.
The company was founded by his father, Joseph Blank, in 1919. Lou Blank and his brother Martin Blank, the former president of the company, ran the company together for nearly 40 years. It is now run by Martin’s son Douglas Blank.
Blank is survived by his wife, Jane, and their three children.
