Villa Godilonda

Villa Godilonda, the coastal Tuscan estate formerly owned by the Bulgari family, has been sold to an unidentified Eastern European investor.

The buyer plans to renovate the property, which has 28 bedrooms and sits on 11,000 acres, and open a hotel, Lionard Luxury Real Estate, brokers of the sale, confirmed.

The Bulgari family purchased the estate after World War II and used it as a summer home until the 1980s, when it was transformed into a hotel. It has been abandoned since 2007.
