Everyone sees pink in October. Because it’s Breast Cancer Awareness month, many people and companies—jewelers included—go to great lengths to support those who have had or are battling the disease. Los Angeles-based Michael John Jewelry is no exception.
Through sales of its Pink watch—a stainless steel automatic timepiece with crystal sapphire glass, a pink leather band, and Swarovski crystals on the bezel—the design firm is donating 100 percent of the $350 sale proceeds to various charities that support those affected by breast cancer. The price is valid on the designers’ website until the end of October (the piece typically retails fro $650), and Michael John Jewelry is also hosting a Facebook contest giveaway, running through the end of the month, for one of the watches.
Know a strong woman who has been affected? Upload her picture online and tell the company why she means the world to you and she could win the watch.
