For a Good Cause: Doves’ Amazonite Jewelry Benefits the World Wildlife Fund

Love nature like Doron Hakimian of Doves by Doron Paloma? Show others your support through sales of his new amazonite jewelry collection, proceeds of which benefit the World Wildlife Fund.

“We came up with this idea around Earth Day, deciding to support nature and give back to a region where the stone is originally from,” Hakimian told JCK of his decision to donate 5 percent of wholesale sales from the collection that debuted at the Centurion jewelry show this year.

The amazonite jewelry collection features 400 SKUs in 18k gold with amazonite bases covered in clear quartz. Retail prices start at $900. About 100 retailers are already carrying it, and pieces are also featured in a new ad campaign shot in Miami with model and still life photography. The goal of the campaign is to celebrate all of Doves’ nature-inspired color schemes and styles, including the amazonite collection. Look for the ads on billboards, in regional print publications in co-op ads with retailers, and on some fashion blogs.
