Hello, drop-dead glamour
Michelle Obama wore a dramatic pair of pearl drop earrings from Yoko London to the Kennedy Center Honors show at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., last night, Dec. 4.
The first lady paired the danglers with a stunning black, pink, and green embroidered off-the-shoulder gown by Gucci.
Obama’s style has evolved during her time in the White House—she maintains her J.Crew brand of pretty preppiness by day but has increasingly embraced more dramatic, traditionally glamorous looks for night (in the vein of last night’s ensemble) as her time in politics, at least in the near future, winds down.
Her exquisite—but accessible—style will be missed.
