A jewelry store in Pembroke Pines, Florida was victimized by an armed smash-and-grab, according to a local news report.
According to the report, three male suspects ordered the employees of Sid and Fontan Jewelers to the ground while one of the robbers used a fire ax to smash open display cases. One suspect had a silver handgun, but no one was injured the robbery.
Police are looking for three men in their 20’s, but don’t have specific descriptions because the thieves were wearing hoodies. Police are also investigating whether the crime is linked to a similar incident in the area that occurred earlier this month.
