Expansion to Give Michigan Store More Intimate Setting

A Michigan jeweler announced an expansion of its store
that will roughly double the square footage.

The expanded Artisans Jewelers is scheduled to open in May
at Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi, Mich., vice president Christopher Terterain tells
JCK.

“We are going to remodel the whole store,” Terterain says.
“It will have a new look and feel.”

The store will expand into the space previously occupied by
Forever 21 in the mall and will feature video screens, dramatic lighting,
virtrines, and modern wall coverings.

Artisans will temporarily relocate to the space previously
occupied by Rogers & Hollands while construction is being completed.

The store—which is mostly known for its high-end bridal section—will also feature a reimagined bridal section in the new location. “We will have a
more intimate bridal section where people can sit down as they make their
purchases,” says Terterain, who also wants to add beverages as an option for
bridal clients as they shop.

Terterain says the store will add a Pandora section and add
new designers.

“The staff is looking forward to having more space in addition to a more luxury feel,” he
says.
