Online silver jewelry merchant EvesAddiction.com, based in Deep River, Conn., has debuted a biannual $1,000 scholarship program.
The scholarship is open to any high school senior, undergraduate, or graduate student enrolled in a fall 2013 or spring 2014 program at an accredited U.S. college or university. One student will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship based on replies to a 500-word essay on one of two topics:
- How can the Web give a company a competitive advantage?
- How will you use your “personal shine” to make a difference?
The deadline for submissions is Dec. 15, 2013; and the recipient will be announced on Jan. 15, 2014.
“Here at Eve’s Addiction we put a high emphasis on a college education, but we also know how hard it can be to pay for a degree,” president Ray Galeotti told the media.
