Los Angeles–based Evelyn Huang’s new Love collection, from EvelynH., will speak to romantics and modernists alike for its updated classic appeal.

Love comprises three sub-collections—Ai, Love, and Amour—each with a distinct flavor. Ai features all solitaires, Love is a collection of halo styles, and Amour is bolder (read bigger and blingier), and all are made in 18k gold. Some 26 total SKUs exist, with matching wedding bands in the works for 2016. Love is debuting now, and its proprietary gold alloy offers an inherent brilliance that doesn’t require rhodium plating.

“My main inspiration and focus for this collection was to design engagement rings meant for the modern bride,” Huang tells JCK in an email interview. “Every setting from classic to designer incorporates the smallest and most intricate of details, making each style unique and special.”

Suggested retail prices start at $1,700, and no buy-in currently exists.
