A photo shoot in Costco hits an Internet sweet spot
A newly engaged Minneapolis couple opted to have fun with their engagement photos, choosing a cheeky shoot in Costco over a romantic setup in a park—and the Internet is into it.
“Traditional photos seemed very awkward to us. In fact, we were not planning to take any engagement photos to begin with,” Karinne Tarshish told ABC News.
However, after a wedding photographer told Tarshish and fiancé Dan Klamet an engagement session was free, they decided to have fun with it.
“Anyone who knows Dan and me knows how much we love Costco. There isn’t much to it,” said Tarshish. “We just like good deals, and we both like Costco as a company. I will say that my family is pretty gung-ho about Costco. We generally get everything there.”
The photos, which Klamet posted to Reddit, have already been viewed 86,000 times.
