EGL Asia celebrated the first anniversary of its establishment with an announcement that it will be greatly expanding its grading and educationalservices in China.
Starting in November, EGL will begin conducting gemmology courses in Shanghai, delivered by Professor Yung of Tonji University. Then in January, it will begin issuing grading reports under the auspices of NGGC (National Centre of Quality Supervision & Inspection on Gold-Silver Products), China’s leading diamond laboratory.
The new services will be launched with two certificates being issued for the price of one.
On September 22, the company marked its one year anniversary with a well-attended cocktail reception at the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel. The guest of honor was Hong Kong’s Permanent Secretary for Commerce and Economic Development, Yvonne Choi Ying- Pik.
