Jewelry and accessories designer Eddie Borgo will launch a limited-edition collection with Target on July 12.
The collection was first announced via Vogue, which featured an exclusive look at the new designs. They include customizable charms in hematite, gunmetal, quartz, pyrite, cherrywood, hand-poured resin, semiprecious rose, jade, and howlite.
“There’s this spirit that’s in the air for us, of ‘maker culture’: people wanting to customize things themselves, infuse things with their own personal sense of style, really bring their own design sensibility to what they do,” Borgo told Vogue.
“We love that it allows women a chance to completely personalize their look,” Target executive vice president and chief merchandising and supply chain officer Kathee Tesija told Vogue. “It gives women the flexibility to make their jewelry and accessories one-of-a-kind pieces of art.”
The retailer has been previewing the collection on Instagram, emphasizing its customizable features, including 3-D-printed letters and numbers.
