E-Jewelry Software Announces Cloud Subscription Service

E-Jewelry Software, the flagship application from Los Angeles–based Business Computing, is now offered self-service and on demand to jewelers as software-as-a-service (SaaS), it was recently announced. With its monthly subscription plan, customers will be offered the first 30 days free of charge to test the software, upgrade, downgrade, or cancel the subscription if they choose. E-Jewelry Software is built on the Microsoft Dynamics NAV platform.

“Microsoft Cloud computing eliminates the capital expense of buying hardware and software and running on-site data centers,” said Business Computing president and CEO Mike Joukhajian in a press release. “It adds up pretty fast if you are not the right fit for an in-house setup.” Microsoft will, however, continue to offer the in-house version to those customers who are not interested in the cloud solution, Joukhajuan added.
