The Women’s Jewelry Association’s second annual West Coast “Women in the Know” conference, being held Friday, will feature Lisa Druxman, founder and chief executive officer of StrollerStrides, the country’s largest fitness programs for moms.
Druxman will serve as Afternoon Keynote Speaker in a program presenting Susan Rothman, co-founder of Hearts On Fire, and Laurie Hudson, co-founder of Luxury Brand Group. The event will be held at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles.
Druxman has been featured on NBC’s Today Show, CNN, Access Hollywood and profiled in magazines such as Entrepreneur, Woman’s Day, Good Housekeeping, and Self.
Druxman was the recipient of the 2007 IDEA Program Director of the Year award and the 2008 Business Owner of the Year Award for the National Association of Women Business Owners. In an energetic and informative presentation she will share her innovative solutions for balancing family responsibilities with career goals and obligations. Her presentation, “Managing the Mother-load, will address business, marriage, children, health, and happiness.
“That’s a lot to cover and a lot to juggle, and that’s exactly the point,” said Dana Meyer-Maxwell, the West Coast “Women in the Know” conference co-chair.
This dynamic full-day gathering is being sponsored by Jeweler’s Mutual, Platinum Guild International (PGI), and David Yurman, and supported by the JCK Industry Fund.
Tickets for the conference are $200 for WJA members and $225 for non-members and are available from the WJA website, www.womensjewelry.org, or by calling WJA Headquarters at 708-361-6266.
