Simon Doonan, creative director of Barneys New York and best known as the mastermind behind the company’s famed window displays, will host the Jewelry information Center’s GEM Awards on Friday, January 8, 2010.
The awards will honor former secretary of state Madeleine K. Albright.
In addition to working for Barneys for over two decades, Doonan has appeared on VH1, “America’s Next Top Model” and has written four books.
