Diamond engagement rings are the backbone of the fine jewelry industry, but don’t skimp on your inventory of classic and cutting-edge wedding bands.
According to The Knot’s most recent Market Intelligence Report, 93 percent of brides and 97 percent of grooms polled purchased wedding bands. Around 95 percent of that group nabbed new bands—with 26 percent of the brides opting for customized styles, compared to 16 percent of the grooms.
And while both guys and gals are just as likely to shop for engagement rings on their own as they are as a couple, 71 percent of those polled picked out their wedding bands together. Awww!
