The Jewelers 24 Karat Club of Southern California and its board of directors awarded Donald “Don” Ritchie with the Excellence in Service Award, one of the Club’s highest honors.
Ritchie, a second generation jeweler and CEO of the well known 30-plus store chain Harry Ritchie Jewelers, will receive the award on October 17, when the Club holds its annual dinner dance and gala at the Montage Resort in Beverly Hills.

He’s also active in many industry groups, various charities and the father of three adult children with his oldest son joining the family business in recent years.
“We are very proud to honor Don with our Excellence in Service Award,” says current 24 Karat Club president, Donna Phelan. “He is an outstanding leader in the jewelry industry.”
“Don exemplifies the character, tradition and high quality of the family-owned jewelry business on which our industry is founded,” added incoming 24 Karat Club president Vatche Fronjian.
