The sparkle has returned to Camp Bowie Boulevard: Diva Diamonds and Jewels has expanded into Texas, with a new Fort Worth store at an address previously occupied by a jeweler that was in business for over a hundred years.
Diva will host a grand-opening celebration Oct. 16 to 19 at 6102 Camp Bowie Blvd., a 4,200-square-foot, single-level store that is the former home of family-owned Haltom’s Jewelers. Mark Suleiman, owner of Diva Diamonds, says his company will donate a portion of the proceeds from grand-opening weekend to flood relief efforts for Texas’ Kerr County, which experienced massive flooding in July.
Suleiman, also a designer for Diva, explains how his independent chain came to add Fort Worth to its three other locations—Santa Fe, N.M.; Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Aspen, Colo.
“We learned through a mutual connection that Haltom’s Jewelers was closing its doors after decades of service. The Diva Diamonds ownership team reached out to Haltom’s and came to an agreement to carry on their tradition of serving the community,” he says.

“With years of history and heritage in fine jewelry, we share the same philosophy of offering exceptional craftsmanship and service, making this a natural fit,” says Suleiman, who notes that longtime Haltom’s associates John Clingman and Melissa Hays are now working at Diva Diamonds.
Since the Fort Worth space was already a jewelry store, no major renovations were required, says Suleiman. He kept the showcases in place, but decided to refresh the store layout and add some new decor.
“We love the vintage brick construction combined with the darker showcases. Together they create a warm, inviting, and cozy atmosphere where clients can relax and enjoy their time with us,” he says. “We also incorporated one-of-a-kind art pieces from our own Diva Diamonds art galleries, making this store truly unique.”

Suleiman says he wants new and existing clients, including former customers of Haltom’s, to feel like family when they visit the Fort Worth store. There, they can find Diva’s favorite jewelry brands, such as Fope, Messika, and Picchiotti, as well as Swiss watches from Brietling, Patek Philippe, and other makers.
“Diva Diamonds has a long tradition of making sure every guest feels welcomed, valued, and cared for. As a family-owned and family-run business, that personal connection is at the heart of everything we do,” Suleiman says.
“We are honored to carry forward the Haltom’s legacy in our own Diva Diamonds style. Just as you would welcome a new neighbor, we invite the community to come in, say hello, and experience what we have to offer.”
Diva, which is based in Santa Fe, was founded in 1997 and has been run by Suleiman since 2010.
