The Diamond Empowerment Fund will honor Tiffany & Co. and Leo Schachter Diamonds at the second annual GOOD Awards on Jan. 10, 2013.
The GOOD Awards, established by DEF in 2012, recognize companies and individuals in the jewelry industry for their leadership.
Both of this year’s honorees are being recognized for their work in Botswana. Tiffany & Co. continues to promote fair business practices and programs in diamond-producing communities. Leo Schachter Diamonds was one of the first diamond companies to establish a cutting factory in the country, employing hundreds of locals.
