Actress Jane Seymour and industry group Jewelers for Children will receive GOOD Awards from the Diamond Empowerment Fund in January.
Seymour, Jewelers for Children (JFC), and JFC executive director David Rocha are being honored for making a positive difference in the lives of youth and communities around the world.
The DEF created the GOOD Awards in 2012 to promote and honor good corporate citizenship in the diamond business. The awards will be held January 8, 2015, at the Empire Penthouse Lounge in New York City.
Seymour, whose name graces Sterling’s Open Hearts jewelry line, was honored for her Open Hearts Foundation, which aims to positively impact lives in the areas of health, education, arts, and sports.
Rocha has led Jewelers for Children for the past decade, during which time the group has donated millions to Make-A-Wish, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and various overseas relief efforts.
