An auction for the assets of New York diamond company Dia Deb, currently in Chapter 11, will take place in September.
The auction will take place Sept. 13, at 10 a.m., at the offices of law firm Klestadt & Winters in New York City, according to papers filed Aug. 18 in the United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of New York.
Sumit Diamond has already placed a bid for certain of those assets. The auction is to determine if there are any higher or better offers. The deadline for alternative bids is Sept. 8.
