Delicacies Jewelry has an endearing new collaboration with venerable cookbook author Dorie Greenspan, transforming her famous pastries into jewelry pieces timed to the holiday and baking seasons.
The new XOXO Collection includes a customizable charm bracelet, two statement necklaces, and six charms in the shapes of a cherry, croissant, cupcake, macaron, madeleine, and the signature “XOXO,” or hugs-and-kisses, that Greenspan adds to every correspondence.
Prices range from $23 for an individual charm to $95 for the necklaces, which are cast in sterling silver and plated in 14k yellow gold. Each comes with a card explaining its history and meaning within Greenspan’s baking world.
Per Delicacies Jewelry’s longstanding fund-raising efforts, every purchase from the XOXO Collection benefits No Kid Hungry‘s campaign to end childhood hunger in the United States. Each bracelet or necklace donates $5; each pair of earrings $2.50; and each charm donates $1, which equals 50, 25, and 10 meals, respectively.

Greenspan is considered a pastry icon and baking authority within the food world. She has written 15 cookbooks and won five coveted James Beard Awards—a top recognition for food-themed works named after well-known cookbook author James Beard.
Nicolle Nelson, cofounder and designer of Delicacies Jewelry, says the spark for the collaboration came from a dear professional connection.
“Legendary literary agent Sally Ekus gifted one of our Cherry Necklaces to Dorie at this year’s Cherry Bombe Jubilee in New York City. Dorie received the necklace and the connection was instant. She couldn’t take it off, and when we connected on a call a few weeks later, it immediately became apparent we needed to partner,” Nelson shares.
“We share a deep love of food, baking, and giving back. Dorie is a long-time supporter of No Kid Hungry, and we had just recently signed an agreement with No Kid Hungry, so it seemed meant to be.”
From there, Nelson says they came together to create a collection that perfectly blends Greenspan’s baking prowess with Delicacies’ passion for elegant, food-inspired jewelry.
“Of course, the collection had to be pastries,” Nelson says. “We chose these specific pastries and shapes because they are quintessential symbols of Dorie’s baking legacy and our mutual love of French pastries.”

Greenspan’s other well-known symbol is the XOXO. It is not just a sign-off; it is her personal trademark of warmth, inclusivity, and love.
“Anyone who reads her cookbooks, subscribes to her Substack, or interacts with her knows that she signs off her correspondence with hugs and kisses,” Nelson says. “The XOXO charm marks the first time we have done something other than food, but with Dorie, it just seemed right. XOXO is such a sweet sentiment; the perfect complement to a pastry collection.”
Nelson adds that there are plans to create more pieces for Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and beyond.
Greenspan shared her impression of the sweet collaboration in a statement, saying, “I’ve never been much of a jewelry girl until I discovered Delicacies. I’m absolutely obsessed with these designs. The collection captures the magic and whimsy of baking. Working with Delicacies to bring these tiny, perfect treats to life has been pure joy.”
Delicacies calls itself the world’s “first and only” line of fine jewelry for food lovers, highlighting iconic ingredients and foods. To date, the St. Paul, Minn.-based business has donated more than 1.2 million meals to those in need through partnerships like its one with No Kid Hungry, says cofounder John Peter Larson.
