Debuting in Las Vegas: Reena Ahluwalia’s Nurture by Reena Line of Lab-Grown Diamonds

The Style 360 blog’s “Debuting in Las Vegas” series casts a spotlight on new jewelry you can expect to see at the annual jewelry trade shows taking place at the end of May and the first week of June in Las Vegas.

Canadian jewelry designer Reena Ahluwalia has long designed beautiful diamond jewelry—on her own and for other firms, including Royal Asscher—and now she’s ready to debut her own line at JCK Las Vegas.

The Nurture by Reena line is what the Toronto-based Ahluwalia calls “the world’s first lab-grown diamond designer jewelry brand…committed to proudly feature fully disclosed, certified lab-grown diamonds that are origin-guaranteed, conflict-free, and environmentally sustainable.”

Moments is the name of Ahluwalia’s first collection, which features floral motifs, colorless, pink, and yellow lab-grown diamonds, and a QR code on the backside of each style that allows buyers to embed a personal message and photo by way of a Moments app that will be live by showtime. Wearers can see it when scanned. “It’s a modern-day digital talisman, a time capsule that captures and preserves your moment for eternity,” Ahluwalia explained to the press upon release of the news. But most importantly, the jewelry is pretty. Thirty-six SKUs are available in 18k white, yellow, and rose gold with diamond weights starting at 0.4 ct. Styles include rings, pendants, earrings, and bracelets. Retail prices start at $2,500.
