De Beers has been named the overall winner in the ACCA South Africa Sustainability Reporting Awards for the company’s 2010 Report to Society.
This is the fourth consecutive year that the report has been recognized by ACCA South Africa. Both the 2009 and 2010 Reports won first prize in the resources category and were named the Best Sustainability Report.
“As a company, we pride ourselves in the sustainability work that we do across the Family of Companies,” said a De Beers statement. “This report allows us to keep up our promise of being an accountable and transparent corporate citizen.”
