The second Diamond Trading Company allocation of 2011 saw
heavy price increases on most qualities of rough diamonds.
DTC spokeswoman Louise Prior tells JCK the company “had mid to high single-digit price increases on
a number of our boxes” at its February sight. But she declined to say which
items would be increasing in value.
De Beers has previously
announced that diamond prices rose 27 percent in 2010.
