A French newspaper says the airline is considering Philippe Mellier for the top job
De Beers CEO Philippe Mellier (pictured) is in the running to head Air France, according to an article in French newspaper La Tribune.
Prior to taking the top job at De Beers in 2011, Mellier worked at car and transportation companies. The article says other candidates are being considered as well.
De Beers declined comment.
