Diamond Dealers Club president Moshe Mosbacher convened a meeting of leaders of the diamond industry in New York with the Hon. Robert C. Lieber, Deputy Mayor for Economic Development, to solicit New York City’s cooperation to ensure that 47th Street thrives well into the future as the nation’s key diamond and jewelry center.

Mosbacher reported that Deputy Major Lieber was extremely encouraging in his support and called for enhanced cooperation between the City and the private sector to achieve this goal.
