The Diamond Dealers Club
announced June 22 the election of board member Basant Johari as the
organization’s vice president and chairman of the club’s board of arbitrators.

Born in Varanasi and raised
in Bombay, Johari joined his family diamond
business and came to the United States in 1980 where he started a diamond
trading company.  He founded Kuber
Mfg. nearly 20 years ago. Johari and his wife and two children live in the New
York area.
