The Diamond Club West Coast is expected to confirm a new president, Nikhil Jhaveri, following recent elections. Jhaveri will replace David Marcus, who held the position for most of the last decade. Jhaveri was introduced as the presumed next president at a luncheon at the club.
The club also presented the results of an in-depth organizational study. Headed by Dr. Itamar Harari and his consulting company, HEART in Education, the study ended in December 2009 with specific and feasible recommendations which are currently being implemented by the board of directors. The study strongly suggested involving the general membership in committees designed to enhance and improve the club’s functionality and prestige.
